Thomas Adamicka was born in Zurich and is now based in Berlin.

He studied history, German literature and film science at the University of Zurich and film directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin.

Thomas Adamicka is a writer, director, editor and producer for film, television, art projects and companies. He teaches as a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (Switzerland). His films have won prizes at several international film festivals.
